Bitchin' Kitchen

Brief

Back in 2015, I wanted to create a digital space for like-minded people who share a love for food and design. This idea came about when me and another designer were constantly sharing ideas, news and pictures of food and design during our lunch. But there wasn’t a digital platform that met our needs.

Approach

I worked with my colleague in our spare time to create the new brand. We developed some visuals and went to restaurants to review the food! Our main aim was to create something that was fun, engaging, and digestible (excuse the pun).

 

I used a visual grid for the web design so there was a clear link between design and the food content. 

 

Our website provided snappy restaurant reviews, new food products, and design inspiration all relating to food. This finally satisfied our cravings.

 

Results

Unfortunately, since leaving CKD they decided not to continue with the site, but it's been a project I've always been proud of.
